Overview
Wildfire Awareness Week is an important annual effort recognized throughout the nation to bring attention to the dangers of wildfires and how citizens can protect themselves and their communities from these potentially devastating fires.

Every year, the Office of State Fire Marshal supports other Oregon agencies such as the Oregon Department of Forestry, Keep Oregon Green, the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, and others in their efforts to educate citizens on wildfire prevention measures.

Below you will find more information and helpful links providing you with resources and actions you can take to keep your family, your home, and your property safe from wildfire.
