Captain Gerald Gregg began his career as a Cadet for the Department in 1978.  He obtained a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Portland in 1981 and joined the Department full-time in 1983, where he was assigned to the Portland Patrol Office as a Trooper.  Throughout his career he has held a variety of command positions within the agency, including Criminal Investigative Services Division, Gaming Enforcement Director, Northwest Region Commander, and most recently, Patrol Services Division Commander since 2004.

Sergeant Alan Hageman is a 23-year veteran of the Oregon State Police having spent his first eight years as a trooper in the Patrol Division at Roseburg and Salem.  He has been a sergeant for 15 years with the first two years as a dispatch supervisor in Portland and the next six years in various administrative assignments at General Headquarters.  After more than four years as a field supervisor at the Salem Area Command Office, Sergeant Hageman returned to General Headquarters at his current assignment in the Patrol Services Division with administrative oversight over several programs including Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement, K-9 and Criminal Interdiction, the Tow Truck Non-Preference Program and Division’s liaison for the International Association for the Chief’s of Police.  Sergeant Hageman is a veteran of the US Coast Guard and he has an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from Rogue Community College and a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University.

Sergeant Michael Stupfel began his career October 1984 as a Recruit stationed inCoos Bay.  He was promoted to Sergeant in 1991 and remained in Coos Bay until transferring to General Headquarters in June 2005, where he is assigned to the Patrol Services Division.  Sergeant Stupfel manages the Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Aggressive Driving Enforcement Program (ADEP), along with several of the overtime grant enforcement projects and serves as a member of the following Traffic Safety Organizations; Oregon State Speed Review Panel, Law Enforcement for Traffic Safety (LETS), Alliance of Citizens for Traffic Safety in Oregon (ACTS Oregon) and currently serves as a member of the Governors Law Enforcement Policy Advisory Committee looking into Code Three Response issues.  Sergeant Stupfel is an ACTAR accredited Collision Reconstructionist and received his reconstruction training from the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) in 1993.  He is veteran of the US Air Force and holds two Associates of Science degrees from Chemeketa Community College in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement and Administration.

Sharri Dowling has been employed with the Oregon State Police since November 1992.  During her career with the Department, she spent her first two years in Medford as a Telecommunicator II in the Southern Regional Dispatch Center.  Sharri has been assigned to the Patrol Services Division at General Headquarters since February 1995.  Sharri currently supervises the Professional Staff of the Patrol Services Division at General Headquarters.  In addition, her duties include Patrol Program and Budget Support and Assistant to the Patrol Division Commander.

Vanessa has been employed by the Oregon State Police Patrol Services Division since December 1998.  Vanessa’s duties include quality control checks on patrol-related data entry throughout the state, Patrol records requests, maintains statistical patrol data, and administrative support to various Division programs.

Audrey Shipman has been with the Oregon State Police since October 1999.  During her career, she has worked in Sworn Applicant Processing with the Training Division, Criminal Records in the Investigative Services Division, field support at the Salem Patrol Area Command, and was promoted to Tow Program Coordinator in October of 2004.  Audrey currently processes applications for the Department’s Non-Preference Tow Program, handles yearly renewals for over 300 tow companies statewide, and is responsible for handling tow hearing requests.

Laura Steward has worked for the Oregon State Police since June 1999.  Laura started her career at the District II Headquarters in Salem in June 1999, and then spent three years at the NW Region Headquarters in Wilsonville before transferring to General Headquarters in November 2004.  Laura Assists with the Drug Evaluation Classification Program and Traffic Safety Grants along with administrative support to various Division programs.

Rebecca David has worked for the State Police since 1999.  She spent approximately four years in the Forensic Services Division where she managed the Evidence Technician Program and Forensic Academies.  She then spent three years in the Criminal Investigation Division as a Crime Analyst before transferring to Patrol Services Division with the re-instatement of the Evidence Technician Program.
